    The Certificate III in Children’s Services course provides the skills and knowledge for a variety of child-care positions – Assistant, Nanny, Playgroup Supervisor, Family Day Care Worker, or Mobile Childcare Assistant. This course is currently a pre-requisite for working in child-care centres or family day care. In this course you learn about children’s health and safety, how to provide care for young children, support their development and provide experiences that make their play and learning really enjoyable. This Cert III Childcare course will provide you first-class training and student support while you undertake your training in the Certificate III in Children's Services (CHC30708). Our partner training organisation has over 20 years experience in delivering nationally accredited and recognised community training courses designed to meet the needs of students from a broad range of backgrounds. Cert III in Children’s Services (CHC30708) Course UnitsThe Cert III in Children’s Services (Childcare) is comprised of 11 core units, and 4 electives. It is Australia’s nationally recognised and accredited qualification in child care, and is designed for those interested in becoming a nanny, assistant in a child care centre, playgroup supervisor, family day care worker, or mobile child care assistant. During the course of your childcare training, you will be required to gain up to 100 hours workplace-based experience to solidify your practical experience and skills in working with children. This course has been specifically designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to work safely and effectively with young children, providing an opportunity for those with a passion for our youth to take a leading role in the childcare. Please note:  Students must complete or hold a current first aid certificate before successful completion of the course can be granted.
